ALWAYS ASK FOR PREVIOUS DISCLOSURES

When you are buying a house, chances are that the sellers will still have the documents they received when they bought the home.  This includes the Sellers' Disclosures that were given to them.  So ask your Real Estate agent to request the previous Sellers' Disclosures from the sellers. 

If your agent balks or more probably, blows you off, then ask again. Get a confirmation in writing that the sellers do not have any previous Sellers' Disclosures to provide you. 

It's too late after you have bought the house. Try to get it before you close. It will be worth the effort.
