I recommended Rusty Jenney today to a homebuyer in Houston and told the buyer he was "the best termite inspector in Texas."  I was asked why Rusty Jenney was recommended as "the best Termite Inspector" in Texas.  My reasons are many but it essentially boils down to one simple concept:

            Rusty treats every job he does as if he was doing it for his own home. 

That's it.  What more can you want? 

I assure you that that degree of professional integrity has led him to study the art and science of finding active infestations of subterranean termites.  He has the attention to detail of an airline pilot doing a checklist before take off.  He remembers every unique construction anomaly and he applies that knowledge to every job he services. 

            Rusty Jenney believes that no home should have termites and if it does, he takes it personally to solve the problem and eradicate them from the home.  Unfortunately, very few people performing termite inspections have that degree of concern much less his wealth of knowledge and even less so his determination to solve the problem.  Sadly, most termite inspections are cursory 30 minute walk throughs that are used as part of the dog and pony show to satisfy homebuyers that they are making a good purchase.

            Termites are elusive cryptobiotic animals.  That means that they are averse to light, air and mostly exposure.  We used to say that the typical termite inspector wouldn't find a termite unless it came out and bit him on the . Get the picture? 

            How would I know?  Well, I defended pest control companies for 15 years and I assure you it is true for the overwhelming majority of them.  But Rusty Jenney is different.  Each house is like a new mystery that he wants to solve.  Rusty Jenny will never "guarantee that there are no termites."  But he will do everything he can to make sure there are no signs of them.  That means he will crawl around attic spaces or underneath houses or on top of roofs.  Whatever it takes.
