It is Termite Swarming season again. Termite swarmers are the reproductives of a termite colony. Their scientific name is "alates". If you are having termite swarmers and you have a termite treatment contract, you could have real problems.
Swarmers mean that the colony attacking your house has grown so much that they have to send out emissaries or reproductives to form new colonies. That is not good for you.
Swarmers in your house mean that the existing pest control treatment has failed. That means that the termite colony is growing and continuing to eat your house.
Pest control companies respond to swarmers by merely pouring more chemical on the problem. If the preceeding pest control treatment or treatments has not worked to date, more chemical is not likely to solve the problem which is that a termite colony is eating your house.
You have to demand that they figure out how the termite colony is entering the house and then you should get a second opinion.
Termite swarmers are bad news and mean the termite colony is growing and continuing to attack your homes.
